Rare pair of Gefle Astra Cup & Saucer Sets. Ceramic cups hand decorated with vertical striping in purple. Saucers have matching purple band. Larger sized cups measure 3 1/8" tall by 3 5/8" in diameter. Saucers measure 6 3/8 in diameter.
All pieces are in very nice condition clean and glossy with little evidence of use. There are a few minor production flaws, including a rim nick that is glazed over. And one cup has a barely noticeable fine hairline crack (see last photo). Terrific set of these hard-to-find collectible Gefle cups and saucers!
