Brown Westhead Moore CAULDON Porcelain Tea Set England K/4400'Souvenir' Antique

This is a very pretty set exquisitely crafted in super fine porcelain and most pieces are in very good to excellent condition making a truly rare set of 6 pieces from the later part of the 19 century. Cups 2 5/8" x 1.75" (Japanese shape). As stated above generally in very good condition or excellent for its age but there are a few issue.

One cup and saucer has been broken at some point early in its life and has been professionally stapled! Who doesn't love a staple or two which I think adds charm and provenance to the pieces as they were valued so highly by someone that they picked up the bits and had it mended. Very minor & minute crazing to the bottom rim of some of the cups. One cup has a little staining. The sugar bowl I wasn't going to include as this had been broken quite recently, I hasten to add not by me!

It's currently stuck together by tape but there's an opportunity to have this repaired to be whole again! Or as you can see displays well as is. This set will be a joy to own and while I know there's much greater value in breaking it up I hope it remains together as a set. Many thanks for looking xx.
