From the estate of a prominent entertainment executive. A set of 14 antique Imari tea cups and saucers.

Saucers feature a striking fan style shape which is also reflected on the inside design of the cups. Classic vivid Imari color palate of rust, orange, cobalt blue, green and gilt.

Each cup measures approximately 3.5 in diameter and 2. Each saucer measures approximately 5.5" in diameter and 1"h.

There are light surface scratches and subtle signs of wear present. Slight wear to the gilt, mainly on the rims.

There are some little glaze pops, bubbles and an occasional imperfection from the initial firing. Some of the foots have flea bites. All pieces bare a Japanese Meiji period mark.
